The Top Hat of Doom

Not really. Just another random sketch.

I noticed today, flipping through The Smithsonian Collection of Newspaper Comics, that the editors chose a lot of strips with Nemo-esque flying beds. There's examples from Gasoline Alley, Mutt and Jeff etc. - I'm sure this must have been deliberate.

    I love that book. I've got a very battered and treasured copy my grandfather gave me, and then a relatively shiney new copy I found in a used bookstore for $10.
