I think "The Treasure of Peg-Leg Wilson" will be a subtitle under the main Muppet Show logo.Roger Langridgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12404576498089582383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19797865.post-27927222054335430742009-03-24T12:53:00.000+00:002009-03-24T12:53:00.000+00:00If you are allowed to say, is this "Treasure of Pe...If you are allowed to say, is this "Treasure of Peg-Leg Wilson" four-issue storyarc going to be promoted as "The Muppet Show", or will it be a more general "Muppets" comic?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19797865.post-17391751555433823182009-03-23T20:25:00.000+00:002009-03-23T20:25:00.000+00:00Hi RogerYour MB looks more Langridge than Brown, b...Hi Roger

Your MB looks more Langridge than Brown, but that's a good thing! Martin loved your work on HH collection, dunno if I told you that.

How goes the Captain story. However, a character driven comic featuring just the Electric Mayhem would be cool too.

Incidentally, I just surfed over and caught the CBR preview of issue one. I have had strong opinions about the character design, but it does appear to be evolving nicely and it is a particularly handsome comic book. There's no way to please all the fans with all the interpretations, but this fanatic is quite pleased so far.

The thing that floored me is the writing. Your Muppet comic plays out like exciting storyboards for a televised Muppet Show! I can see shades of Jerry Juhl in your work and I imagine that bit with the frogs would probably make Jim Henson smile. Mr. Langridge, you should be writing their new show for television.

You achieved the impossible: The Muppet Show in comic book form. I will collect them in every color.frogboy4https://www.blogger.com/profile/16188415653115644672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19797865.post-80019706501770303942009-03-20T10:19:00.000+00:002009-03-20T10:19:00.000+00:00I should clarify: when I say Issue #5, I mean my f...I should clarify: when I say Issue #5, I mean my fifth issue, but it's the first of a new four-issue story arc called "The Treasure of Peg-Leg Wilson". It looks like Boom will be starting with a new #1 every four issues, which isn't how I'd do it (but I wouldn't do variant covers either). It's still #5 to me!Roger Langridgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12404576498089582383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19797865.post-61583850051004374002009-03-20T01:57:00.000+00:002009-03-20T01:57:00.000+00:00Oooh.
