This is another commission. The brief was to do my own take on this old Marvel Team-Up cover, only with Muppets instead of the Marvel characters. So here's what I came up with.
I was surprised at how rusty I was at drawing the Muppet characters - I needed reference for Sweetums, and that hasn't happened in a while. Better brush up on the rest of the cast before I do any conventions or anything...
I do enjoy drawing gnarly trees, mind.
You're on to something here. Brilliant! Did you ink the cross hatch of the trees by hand?
ReplyDeleteOh my yes! I do still have some old sheets of Zip-A-Tone in a box, but I like a bit of cross-hatching - plus, it won't drop off in ten years if it's exposed to direct sunlight.
