Postpourri

A few random things to cover this time.

First, and I'm as surprised as anybody about this because I only found out about it by reading about it on the internet, it looks like Marvel will be re-issuing my old Muppet Show comics in some form or other. There you go - now you know as much as I do.

Second, there's an all-new, all-digital, all free issue of Tripwire available, including a nice fat piece on Boom! Studios and three, count 'em, three pages of comics by Yours Truly. So that might be worth a look.

Last but not least, I did a bit of logo design a few days ago. I'm quite pleased with it.

Rhapsody in Brown

Here's a Fred the Clown strip I did for Tripwire a couple of years ago - I think enough time has passed now for me to post it here without getting anybody annoyed.

Art and Story Extreme!! had a short appearance by me last week - just a fun cameo on a call-in show, and nothing there for the ages particularly, but it was a pretty funny show once I got out of the way.

Ooh, I think that's about it. Ever so slightly behind on stuff right now (that's code for AAAARGGH) so it's a short one this week. See you in the funny pages.

And another thing...

I'm very good at forgetting things. I'm a champion forgetter. I could forget for England if they didn't already have people who can do that much better than I can. So I should mention that I forgot to plug the new Tripwire Annual, which has a new(ish) Fred the Clown strip contained within -- actually a redrawn and recoloured old web strip, but don't tell everyone. You'll recognise the cover because it's got Doctor Who on it, which I'd be tempted to call a coincidence (on the basis of my association with Doctor Who Magazine) if it weren't for the fact that I don't think I know anybody these days who isn't occasionally involved with Doctor Who in some capacity or another. My longtime collaborator and friend Cornelius Stone discovered a missing William Hartnell episode a few years back; Scott Gray of Fin Fang Four wrote the strip for yonks. And it turned out that my son's godfather worked on The Runaway Bride and set fire to the Tardis on his first day. I don't know if they asked him back.
