Work In Progress

Here are a couple of recently-pencilled pages from Criminy, in the interests of sticking my head above the parapet and waving. Not much time for anything else for a bit...

Work In Progress

I'm going to try to post a bit more regularly here than I have been doing lately. (File that one under "Soft Resolutions".)

This is what's on the drawing board right now: a page I'm currently inking from Criminy. Working in Clip Studio Paint here...

Zoot!

So, Zoot's coming along. The contents are drawn (toning the last pages now) and the cover is done. Here's a first pass at the cover design – I'm undecided whether or not to continue the original numbering, as there's an element of confusion around it, inasmuch as Andrew and I worked on a seventh, unpublished issue which was incorporated into the Zoot Suite collection (which, itself, is essentially the real #7, I guess). I'll have to make that call in the next day or two. Feedback welcome.

Anyway, work in progress.

Detail from a thing

There's something I'm developing with a writer which may not come to anything, but we're going to put it out there and see what happens. Here's a tiny sample of the art I'm putting together for the pitch.

For a Thing

Some character sketches for one of the pitches I've flung out into the cold, cold void this year.

Work In Progress

You're following The Iron Duchess on ZCO.MX, aren't you? Of course you are. Here's a panel from about two thirds of the way through, which I rattled off earlier today.

Other news: I'm going to be at the London Film and Comic Con on July 17th-19th. Nothing new to release, nothing big to announce – just drawing for the lovely peeples. Hope to see some of you there.

Coverishness

Leerless Feeder

Big Kiss

Bit of a work-in-progress here - this is from a Fez one-pager I'm working on for the next Tripwire.

More Character Sketches

I turned in another draft of the script for this thing today. Oh, the suspense...

Some Other Characters

These are for the same thing as the other thing.

Work In Progress

Some character sketches for a thing.

Happy New Year!

Here's a commission-in-progress with a suitably festive atmosphere. Hope everyone had a grand old Hogmanay.

Spinach City

Pencils for a commission.

Here;s the panel I posted the pencils of last Saturday, all inked up.
