I really love your Popeye. It's just enough Segar and just enough Langridge to be totally faithful to the original while not seeming to be a forgery like some attempts at imitating an original artist.
ReplyDeleteSegar is obviously never to be repeated, never to be surpassed in his creation, but you and your collaborators have given us as close to a resurrection of Segar in 2012-2013 as is humanly possible. Thank you.
Some day I hope to own one of your drawings of Popeye to hang on my wall.
